2004 – 2005 Bodyboardshop.com moved into the Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade across the road from the World Famous Burleigh Heads Beach . The shop was set up to cater for physical customers, and internet orders and still are dispatched from this store. Since the Burleigh Heads store was established in 2004, various people contacted us to propose opening bodyboardshop’s in their areas. The idea was considered and in February 2006 Bodyboardshop.com’s second store was opened in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast.

The core principle of the stores is to only have knowledgeable staff who bodyboard themselves and are passionate about the sport. We only stock labels that support the sport in some way by sponsoring its athletes and contests, advertise in Bodyboarding Media, and contribute toward the growth of the sport.

Present - With the growth & success of the 2 Bodyboardshop retail stores and Bodyboardshop.com's online shopping, we have developed and designed a new eCommerce Website that is completely linked to the retail stores and has many features beyond that of anyone else in the same industry. Our online and local store customers can track and view past and present purchases, they can keep track of gift certificates and store credits, plus keep track of their Bodyboardshop Member Loyalty Points © all online. Our retail shop inventory is linked to our online store so there is no worry of ordering something that is not availble.
