Australia's 4th ever Bodyboarding World Champion and first female. Winning the World Title at Pipeline Hawaii this year Kira's surfing has proved without a doubt that she is one of the World's best waveriders. Kira has set her place in the record books as the youngest person ever to win at Pipeline. Coming from Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast she has only been bodyboarding for 7 years but has etched her identity in the bodyboarding world and become an incredible ambassador for the sport. |

Thomas's surfing has come along in leaps and bounds in the past 18 months with huge efforts out some of the most perfect Luna’s caught on film to date not to mention going to Tahiti with mentor Mike Stewart and holding his own in the worlds most powerful left, also a solid performance in Hawaii late last year...even more recently surfing with the maturity you would only gain after spending the last 5 weeks in W.A surfing with Ryan Hardy everyday. At only 18 there are still massive things to come from Thomas, his got determation in his eyes and the skills to back it up. |

If you were asked for stand out of last year Michael Novy's name would definitely rate in the top 3 of them, Blasting out of theshadows of such people like Jono Bruce, Novy possesses a raw no hold back approach towards any wave, riding with his own style. watch out for the new IT boy of the sunny coast's first board model to come out later this year with LMNOP. |

There’s a massive unknown talent pool on the sunny coast and the next name breaking free from that group making a name for himself is Cade Sharp. More hungry then a lion Cade won’t stop for anything or anyone to get to the top of his game so keep up or get left behind because cades surfing ability is progressing faster then a drag car. cade is the latest to join the hugely talented group of Grand Flavour riders, and it seems is destined for big things to come from the kid from the 4551. |

Another jumping out of that talent pool is Maroochydore's Jake Stone. At only 16 this kid has a wave riding style and skill of someone many More years his senior, for a 16 year old Jakes surfing would put most established names in bodyboarding to shame, holding a consistency not seen on the coast since people like Nelson Ross and Jono Bruce. Don’t Underestimate his cheeky grin he'll destroy any wave that comes his way and steal your girlfriend just to rub salt in your wounds. |

Thorpe is the newest addition to the bodyboardshop team. He was recently picked as the 1st NF grom search winner. He is only a little tacker at just 12 years of age but is already turning heads in the bodyboarding world, including the style lord himself Mr Ryan Hardy who said “the kid has enormous potential”. If he keeps at it like he has the first two years of his short career he will be at the top of the food chain in no time. |

The godfather of gold coast bodyboarding, tattoed from head to toe, hardcore madman, byron is looked up to by grommets and peers alike he is known as the reef chief for his desire to find the heaviest barrels available whether it be at the local reefs or at the south coast, although not known for doing too many moves byron does have one of the tidiest styles around and can be reguarly seen patrolling his beloved d-bah |

Our resident girl shredder kat is on a mission with boyfreind dave around Australia this year taking in NSW, VIC, SA and WA when she is in town she can be seen getting shacked anywhere from cudgen to straddie definatley the most dedicated girl on the coast and she is not just a pretty facce either the girl has plenty of talent to go with her looks |
Nicky G-unit is the underatted talent on our team he hails from south straddie and reguarly dominates the line up there, although the kid is quiet he has plenty of talent and this showed on a trip to tahiti last season where he scored some solid pits in front of some highly respected company, Nick could easily become a force to be reckoned with in the coming years |

Ash is the quiet achiever of the team he is content to sit back and wait his turn but as soon as it is his time he stands up and makes it count. He is currently in the top 16 of the Australian tour ahead of some of the biggest names in sport and is looking like he can climb higher on the ladder. Ash just isnt confined to contests though he also has a killer style and can bust out when he wants to. |

Joe is the smooth operator of the Gold Coast whether it is in the water or on land, his style and finess in the waves around his home town and overseas in the power of Hawaii has commanded the respect of his peers. Although not much of a contest man Joe is on the verge of blowing up in the free surfing stakes already nabbing some nice shots in movement and riptide. |

The grommet of the team brad can be seen blowing up around the burleigh area and d-bah when he can scam a lift off someone. has a lot of talent for a youg whippersnapper and is quite handy in contests as well. it wont be long until this kid is up there running the gold coast with the rest of the bodyboardshop.com team |
