LOOKING FOR DURABILITY? CHECK OUT OUR PERFORMANCE BODYBOARD LEASHES
In one of the Stealth earlier ranges, we released the Slider Polypro - our take on a “fish style” bodyboard.
Once they started playing around with the Zero Slot Hull Channel, stealth soon realized this would work a treat on the Slider, so time for a re-release!
The main idea was to create a board that would perform best in weak waves. It uses a slightly wider template, combined with a high wide-point, providing more surface area drastically improving your planning speed. The wide-point around the elbows also makes spins super easy.
This bottom contour is based on the theory of a "planing hull" which as the name suggests, gets you planing earlier and easier, giving exceptional down-the-line speed off the weakest of sections. Compared to the other models using the Zero Slot Hull Channel, the Slider features regular rails, compared to the others using Vax Trax. This will provide a little less hold, but is designed to enhance speed.
You will also notice upped the specs of the Slider Deluxe - We have added an S10 stringer for added durability, and also swapped out the HD Slick for Surlyn.
In saying all that, we reckon riding the Slider Deluxe will help you get the most out of typical summer conditions, or could give you a competitive edge if the waves don’t turn on for your local comp.

1.9lbKinetic PP(Indonesia)
Lightweight fusion foam compressed at 1.9lb offering instant recoil, enhanced stiffness, and compression strength. This foam is 100% waterproof and ideal in mild to warm temperatures.

Carbon Fibre/ CFTStringer
Lightweight filament wound carbon composite rod offering rigidity and durability.

55/45 Rails
This rail setup leaves less of your rail in the water and offers the riderless contact with the water and therefore better drive and speed throughout all conditions.

Slot Hull
The Slot Hull is a Stealth initiative which emphasises planng. The large single hull concave allows the rider to move across the wave with less traction and create higher levels of down the line speed.

DuPont SurlynSlick
Surlyn plastic is thin and durable making it the most popular top-end slick. Surlyn plastic will bend and stretch before it creases or snaps. This is a must have for intermediate through to advanced riders.

Wavecushion 8lb NXLPE(Indo)Decking
Wavecushion decking is a 8lb decking foam. Much like the PE core, the PE decking is soft and flexible. Unlike the PE core, PE decking is used on all top end boards as for the flex and softness which allows riders to create a foam memory. Despite being soft and flexible PE is still extraordinarily durable.

Clipped Crescent Tail
The clipped crescent tail is the most popular crescent tail option. This tail will perform when driving, turning, carving and releasing. Clipping the tail allows the rider to maximise their drive and maintain control through the outer concaves and clipped areas.

Two-Piece Tail
The tail piece is a separate piece of decking that goes on the crescent tail. Done for aesthetic purposes only and as oppose to rolling the deck all the way down over the tail.

Contours
The contours are the slight indents in the deck of a bodyboard. Their job is to help you lock in to the board as best as possible.
|
![]() |
Mesh
Mesh is a diamond shaped wire like plastic that runs under the slick of a bodyboard. Mesh creates a durable reinforcement between the bodyboards slick and the core making it stiffer, stronger and less likely to crease.

Nose Bulbs
Nose bulbs are a slightly raised area of foam on the nose of the board which creates a comfortable spot to grip the nose.

CNC Shaping
Short for“computernumerical control”, CNC machines allow shapers to cut boards perfectly to the mm. CNC machines offer the sharpest possible finish to bodyboard manufacturing.

Manufacturing Country: Indonesia/ Broady
The Broady bodyboard factory started in New Zealand in the 80’s but relocated to Indonesia in the early 2000’s. With two of the industries leading shapers at the helm, the Broady Factory uses CNC shaping, buzztech heat lamination and purpose built Aku Shaping in order to produce high performance bodyboards for most of the world’s leading brands.
