Dolphin Cut Fins

Dolphin Cut fins continue to retain their place as the most popular fin on the bodyboarding market. The fin name and fin idea stems explicitly from the tail of a dolphin. Put two dolphin cut fins together and you'll find they make the shape of a dolphins tail. The idea isn't necessarily to kick like a dolphin would, but rather to use them on the wave as perhaps a dolphin would. Dolphin cut fins incorporate a stiff and long blade which allows the user to retain traction on the wave. Using these fins as a rudder has allowed some of the most extreme---- bodyboarding in the world. These outer ridges have played massive roles in wave traction and have been refined for years via a multitude of brands and rubbers. We've been left now with only the best in this regard. Dolphin cut fins will often use a dual rubber compound which unlike other fins allows the manufacturer to stiffen the blade of the fin whilst softening the inner sole of the fin where your foot goes. This practice guarantees innovation and has allowed manufacturers to create fins which are just as prominent in comfort as they are in propulsion. All dolphin cut fins will incorporate some kind of water drainage system too. The water drainage is a hole in the bottom side of the fin which allows for the drainage of sand, rock and debris which might get caught up whilst your tackling whatever it is you tackle. Used not only amongst bodyboarders, but also drop knee'ers, body surfers, water photographers and knee boarders. The dolphin cut fin retains its place on the market as most popular on the market with good reason.
