Straight Cut Fins

Straight cut fins are a play on dolphin cut fins and incorporate a similar shape bit without the curve in the blade. Similar to the dolphin cut fins, straight cut fins offer the user a rigid outer blade which promotes something of a rudder effect and allows the rider to grip to the wave in even the harshest of elements. Again, much like dolphin cut fins, the straight cut fins will often use a dual rubber compound which unlike other fins allows the manufacturer to stiffen the blade of the fin whilst softening the inner sole of the fin where your foot goes.---- This practice guarantees innovation and has allowed manufacturers to create fins which are just as prominent in comfort as they are in propulsion. The fill out on the blade which makes the fins a straight cut adds to the fins overall area and is strengthened by the ridges which run parallel on the outer of the fin, this extra area strengthens the fin and offers the user a bigger area to create propulsion and waterflow. The straight cut fins are more or less next gen dolphin cut fins and will offer the user maximum performance in control, comfort and power.
