Flippers

Flippers. Fins. Bodyboard flippers. Bodyboard fins. Call them what you will. Our range of flippers and fins stems from brands chosen time and time again by both professional and everyday bodyboarders around the world. Bodyboarding flippers make up for the bodyboards somewhat unpractical shape. Having that extra push out of your legs allows you as a bodyboarder to get on the wave easier and stay on the wave longer. Flippers for bodyboarding differ from standard flippers in their stern ridges and tighter fits. Generally speaking, flippers---- and fins will incorporate a stern ridge which stops the blade from folding every time you kick with it. This stern ridge makes up for a lot of the fins power and allows them to be much of a much smaller design in comparison to diving fins and even swimming fins. These stiff blades also allow you as a bodyboarder to move more water and generate more speed when paddling or kicking. As a general rule, you want your set of flippers to be as tight as possible, without being restricting as such. Flippers are not necessarily made to be comfortable, but that doesn’t mean by any means that you should suffer. Foot pockets vary depending on brand and you will undoubtedly find a good match in our extensive range.
