The almighty Ben Severson designs have returned. In response to a spike in the vintage market BSD has returned looking and feeling as fresh as it ever did. Starting back in the 90's with the famous Ben Board, BSD's Ben Severson Designs have come a long way. A pioneer and highly regarded figure in bodyboarding, Severson is best known for his 1986 world title. Starting his career on the infamous Mach7-7, Severson pushed the limitations of the sport at the time via experimentation in transitional rails and board size. The Mach7-7 at the time was---- flat bottomed and allowed Severson space for expansion. These early Ben Severson Designs were built specifically for combat at the North Shore's Pipeline and acted accordingly in leading Ben Severson to his 1986 Morey World Title. A year later he left Morey for BZ and released his first ever mass produced model in the Ben T-10. Despite an inflated price of $300, the BSD Ben Severson Designs T-10 became one of the world's best selling bodyboards. The same rings true today and with reason. These purpose built machines (BSD T-10, BSD T-20, BSD T-30) stake claim to riding some of the heaviest waves this planet has on offer in Teahpou and Pipeline. Built by the best for the best in a primed era of bodyboarding the BSD designs have hit the lime light once more, and oh boy have they hit it hard. Indulge in the best Ben Severson has to offer right here.
