If there’s one rider who truly lives up to the phrase “no holding back,” it’s Shane Ackerman. Our latest video feature, No Holding Back, is a 14-minute clip showcasing Shane doing what he does best: charging powerful waves with complete commitment and style.
Created by Inverted Bodyboarding in collaboration with We Bodyboard, the project was edited by Jason from We Bodyboard and brings together some of Shane’s most memorable moments in heavy surf. The result is a high-energy edit that captures exactly why Shane is one of the most respected names in bodyboarding.
Shane has built his reputation on taking on demanding, powerful waves with a fearless approach. We Bodyboard describes him as the human embodiment of the spirit of bodyboarding, highlighting his humility, consistency, and love for the biggest, heaviest slabs he can find.
That spirit comes through clearly in this film. No Holding Back isn’t just a highlight reel — it’s a reminder of what makes bodyboarding so exciting when a rider is fully committed to the moment.
